Tricky tarantula is ready for a week of spooky treats

Brazilian Black Tarantula that is resident at St Andrews Aquarium

Dani, a Brazilian Black Tarantula that is resident at St Andrews Aquarium, has been getting herself ready for a spooktacular Hallowe’en week at Fife’s favourite family aquarium.

Pictured checking out one of the pumpkins that will feature in the Aquarium’s Pumpkin Quiz, Dani has been helping the Aquarium team put the finishing touches to the events that are taking place this week and over the

weekend.

Trick and treating visitors to the Aquarium will have to hunt down the pumpkins secretly placed around the building, and in some cases guarded by the aquarium’s residents, to spell out a name, with the winners in the running to bag a Family Pass. Fancy dress is most welcome for those who want to get into

the ‘spirit’ of things.

St Andrews Aquarium is open seven days a week from

10:00am – 5:00pm, with last entry at 4.00pm.
