Thanks to their brilliant green scales, they blend perfectly into the leaves, making them brilliant ambush predators! They love to wait patiently before striking lightning-fast to catch birds, rodents, and other small animals. Did you know that Green Tree Pythons aren't actually born green? It's true! When they first hatch, the babies are a bright, beautiful orange or dark red. They only magically change into their signature vibrant green colour as they grow older!
