Booking a visit? You’ll be safe with us

We’re good to go!

We’ve worked hard to make sure that St Andrews Aquarium achieved the “We’re Good To Go” accreditation. It’s the official UK mark to signal that we’ve worked hard to put  process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.

You can be sure that we’ve done everything we can to make your visit safe, but just as fun as ever!

Enjoy your visit safely

The animals have missed their visitors, and we can’t wait to welcome you back. There are just a few things we ask of you.

Social distancing

You know the drill: give other visitors space, and they’ll do the same for you. It makes for a better experience for everyone!

Hand Sanitiser

There will be a hand sanitiser station at the door, please keep our staff safe by using this before entering the Aquarium.

Go contactless

We highly recommend booking in advance so we don’t have to turn any visitor away, but if we have capacity we’ll accept contactless payment at the door.

Toilets

The toilets are on the stairs as you go down into the aquarium. We recommend only one family use the toilets at a time and of course, we’ll regularly clean the toilets throughout the day.

In the aquarium

Our animals will be very glad to see you all, they have missed all the attention they’re used to! Here are a few things you need to know to enjoy your visit.

There will be hand sanitising stations throughout, please use them as often as you feel you need to.

We’ll be cleaning frequently throughout the day; in the meantime please try not to touch the tanks for safety reasons.

Stick together with your group, and encourage small children to stay close to you.
