Catch: A Unique Venue

Moments away from one of the world’s most prestigious golf courses, St Andrews Old Course, and just 200 feet from the doors of the world’s most famous golf club, The Royal and Ancient, is a subterranean venue which is truly unique.

Comprising of four key event spaces which can be used individually or as a whole, Catch Events at St Andrews Aquarium, delivers a truly breathtaking visitor experience for up to 600 guests, set amidst live exhibits of some of the world’s most dangerous underwater creatures.

Event Spaces

Catch: This two storey venue comprises of a unique bar area with innovative interior design with large walk on outdoor balcony and access to a private beach. Capacity is up to 150 people.

The Dangerous Liaison Room: This area includes our reception area, a large ball room, a private balcony with stunning sunset views over the North Sea and access to an open plan room containing exhibits of some of the world’s most exotic and deadliest fish. Maximum capacity is up to 300 people.

The Amazing Africa Room: Set betwixt our black tip reef sharks and our family of meerkats, this room features an indoor, walk around balcony and the orginal cliff face, not to mention some furry inhabitants and some scary looking sharks! Maximum capacity is up to 100 people.

Under the Sea Corridor: This area includes over twenty different displays from air breathing fish to flesh eating piranha (don’t worry, they will be safely in their exhibits). Maximum capacity is up to 100 people.
