Seals A visit to St Andrews Aquarium is not complete without watching our lovable seals frolic around in their pools.

Naturally playful and inquisitive, Laurel and Hardy, our two resident adult common seals, will definitely check you out to see if you have any of their favourite food.

As seals are intelligent animals and can get bored if they do not recieve enough attention we have recently begun a training programme, with the help of an expert animal trainer. During their twice daily feeds our seals are challenged to participate in a 'training game' which they really enjoy. Very soon we hope that the seals will be able to show off the skills they have learned and display some of these behaviours during an educational performance.
